We've created a new shirt called "Balise." Named after the French word for "beacon" or "marker," this new style bridges the gap between workwear and dresswear, and between shirts and blousons, in terms of both fit and detail. The versatile sizing, suitable for any occasion, will serve as a guiding principle for our future standard patterns. The checked material has become a staple.

Using a super high-gauge 36G knitting machine, we achieved the high-density plain weave structure of a typewriter fabric. Its high stretch makes it incredibly comfortable and hard to take off once worn. It also boasts excellent easy-care properties, with minimal changes in shape like wrinkles during wear. This is a new standard shirt fabric that only we could create, combining crispness, luster, and easy care. For the details, we adopted a dress shirt design with all seams felled and genuine shell buttons. However, elements like the sleeves were designed with a casual blouson image in mind.

This is a unique shirt that fuses the crispness and luster of the material, a well-balanced silhouette, and the dressy feel created by the fabric and pattern. The cotton yarn is made from 160/1 fine-count recycled Suvin cotton, twisted into a double yarn. By using gas-singed yarn, we further enhance its luster and suppress pilling after washing. High-crimp 75D recycled polyester is used to provide stretch. The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
