TANAKA was established in 2017 by New York-based Japanese designer Sayori Tanaka, and Akira Kuboshita joined as director in earnest from 2020.
The concept is "Clothes that weave together the past 100 years and the next 100 years."
Led by the brand's iconic "NEW CLASSIC" denim, the brand aims to balance design and sustainability by incorporating environmentally friendly manufacturing and traditional Japanese techniques.
