We've created a new shirt called "Balise." "Balise" is French for "beacon," and this new style features a size and details that blend workwear and formal wear, and shirts and blousons. Its versatile sizing, suitable for any occasion, represents a new standard pattern for us, a guiding principle for future staples. This check material has become a classic.
Using 36G, a super high gauge, we achieved the high-density plain weave of a typewriter fabric. It offers high stretch for irresistible comfort, minimal shape change like wrinkles during wear, and excellent easy-care properties. This new standard shirting, combining crispness, luster, and easy care, is something only we can create. For details, we adopted a dress shirt style with all seams fully felled and shell buttons. However, elements like the sleeves were designed with a casual blouson image in mind.
This unique shirt blends the crispness and luster of the material, a perfectly balanced silhouette, and the sophisticated feel created by the fabric and pattern. The cotton yarn is made from 160/1 fine recycled Suvin cotton, used as a double yarn. By using gas-singed yarn, we've further enhanced luster and suppressed pilling after washing. 75D high-crimp recycled polyester provides the stretch. The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
