KANEMASA PHIL. - 36G ECONYL Embossed Ideal Shirt - BLACK

This brushed-back material is created by interweaving ECONYL recycled nylon and recycled suvin cotton. It is knitted on a 36G brushed-back knitting machine, the only one of its kind in Japan.

The nylon material is on the outer surface, and the cotton material is on the inner surface, almost like a reversible fabric. The unique luster and high-density, high-gauge weave combine to create a truly distinctive texture.

With cotton on the skin side, it offers a smooth feel against the skin, providing a comfort that belies its appearance.

This material then undergoes a special super calendering process to maximize its luster, followed by a leather-like embossing. This processing reduces breathability and provides wind resistance, making it a functional material.

By applying the process only to the nylon side, it becomes a new material with both luster and a textured finish, while retaining the functionality of cotton.

It boasts high stretchability, offering a comfort that you won't want to take off once you try it on. It also exhibits minimal changes in form, such as wrinkles, during wear, making it easy to care for. Of course, it is also machine washable.

For the details, a dress shirt design is adopted with all seams finished with felled seams. It is a new standard piece that blends casual and formal elements, modifying archived designs while respecting their origins.
