"Balise," French for "beacon," is a model that offers a size and detailing that bridges the gap between workwear and dresswear, shirt and blouson. The versatile sizing allows it to be worn in any situation, making it a guiding pattern for us.
The classic check fabric is created on a unique 36-gauge jacquard loom. This new standard material, exclusive to us, offers high stretch for an irresistible comfort once worn, along with crispness, luster, and easy care.
By incorporating 20% wool yarn, we've achieved a crisp texture, warmth, and quick-drying properties, allowing for year-round wear, along with a unique color.
During the dyeing process, the wool shrinks when heated, creating a textured surface, resulting in a unique fabric we call wool seersucker.
The details are based on a dress shirt, featuring French seams throughout and shell buttons. The sleeves, however, are designed with a casual blouson aesthetic.
This unique shirt combines the fabric's crispness and luster with a perfectly balanced silhouette, and a fusion of the fabric's dressy feel and the pattern. The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
※ French seam: A sewing method where, after one line of stitching, the fabric is folded over and stitched again to conceal the raw edge, making it smooth against the skin.
