“Atmosphere” – enveloping air.
As its name suggests, this is a standard loose-fit shirt from KANEMASA PHIL., designed to maximize the beautiful drape created by its relaxed silhouette and fabric.
The fabric is an original creation, made using a 46G super-high gauge knitting machine to replicate the appearance of a high-density woven broadcloth in a knit. Despite its high density, it offers excellent stretch, providing a comfortable wearing experience that you won't want to let go of once you've tried it on.
Furthermore, it is highly wrinkle-resistant and retains its shape well, making it easy to care for. It's the brand's unique new standard shirting fabric, combining crispness and a beautiful luster with the flexibility characteristic of knitwear.
For its raw material, we use 160/1 extra-fine recycled Suvin cotton in a two-ply yarn. By using gas-gassed yarn, we suppress pilling while bringing out a clearer, higher-quality luster. In addition, by blending 75D high-crimp recycled polyester, we've achieved excellent stretch and comfortable wear.
The pattern expression is constructed using our unique high-gauge jacquard technology. To ensure optimal structural design for each pattern, the fiber blend varies between items, allowing you to enjoy different textures and appearances for each one.
The details are based on a classic dress shirt design. All seams are flat-felled, and the buttons are luxurious shell buttons. Thanks to the crispness and luster of the material, even though it's oversized, it never becomes too casual, maintaining a sophisticated dignity. This KANEMASA PHIL. piece is a luxurious and relaxed garment that combines the elegant appearance created by the fabric with the relaxed feel of its generous cut.
The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons. The brand's commitment to detail is evident throughout.
*Flat-felled seams
A sewing technique where the seam allowance is sewn twice to enclose it within the fabric. This provides a comfortable feel against the skin and excellent durability.
Since the seam allowance is hidden, it also results in a beautiful finish.
