This fabric is a reproduction of duck material, which was used in workwear and cold-weather clothing due to its thick and durable nature, even in harsh working environments. It features a special dyeing method that doesn't penetrate to the core of the thread, resulting in a faded effect when washed, allowing for a unique texture to emerge.
This vest is inspired by a hunting jacket, featuring a protective collar that is fundamental for windproofing. The front flap has a large zipper and an easy-to-pull ring-shaped tab, replicating the look of hunting gear. The small pocket at the chest level allows access without having to open the main zipper, making it suitable for storing wallets and other items, providing peace of mind even in bad weather.
With a mid-length design and gusseted side vents, it creates a more classical atmosphere. The cotton lining is left raw, extending from the hem. After sewing, the top edges, cuffs, and collar are hand-distressed with a grinder and then stone bio-washed to achieve a well-worn look.
