This is a twill fabric made by twisting two 20/1 yarns together, using the thickest yarn possible on an old 28-gauge knitting machine. To create the twill knit, artisans use their skills to maximize the visibility of the diagonal lines.
We have twisted the yarn as much as possible to create a crisp texture. This new material has a unique crispness and a firm feel due to a special resin treatment, yet it is surprisingly light and soft, offering a fresh new aesthetic. It is, of course, machine washable.
Featuring a rounded box silhouette, this piece is characterized by its large hip pockets. Every component, from the armholes to the body width, has been carefully calculated and patterned to maximize the fabric's potential. This is a single-sleeve blouson with a generous body width.
The original buffalo horn buttons have an engraved back. By layering the pocket lining, a three-dimensional shape is created, resulting in a new type of blouson that makes the most of the material's quality.
