"Balise" means "beacon" or "signpost" in French. This new model has a size and detailing that bridges work and dress, shirt and blouson. Its versatile sizing makes it a guiding pattern for us.
We created a completely new ombré check pattern. A border pattern was made on a 28G jacquard machine, and then a special vertical print was applied to create an unprecedented ombré check pattern. The threads were meticulously calculated and woven on the jacquard machine with the post-printing effect in mind.
This is a new standard material that only we can create, offering high stretch for irresistible comfort once worn, crispness, luster, and easy care. The details incorporate a dress shirt design with all french seams and shell buttons.
The sleeves, for example, were designed with a casual blouson image. This is a unique shirt that combines the crispness and luster of the material, a well-balanced silhouette, and the dressy feel created by the fabric with its pattern. The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
*French seam: A sewing method where the fabric edge is sewn once and then folded over and sewn again, so the edge is not visible, providing a smooth feel against the skin.
*Ombré check: A plaid (checked) pattern where the color boundaries are not distinct, and the colors bleed and change like a gradient.
