We've created a new type of shirt called "Balise," which means "beacon" or "marker" in French. This new style features a size and details that fall between workwear and dress wear, and between a shirt and a blouson. Its versatile sizing, suitable for any occasion, sets a new standard for us and will serve as a guiding pattern for future classic designs.

This season, our classic check material comes in four colors of Tattersall. We’ve achieved a high-density plain weave fabric, similar to broadcloth, with a super high gauge of 36G. It boasts high stretchability, making it incredibly comfortable to wear once you try it on. It also maintains its shape well, resisting wrinkles and offering easy care. This unique new standard shirting material combines crispness, luster, and easy care, something only we can offer.

For the details, we adopted a dress shirt style, with all seams sewn with a flat-felled stitch and mother-of-pearl buttons. However, elements like the sleeves were designed with the casual image of a blouson in mind. This is a one-of-a-kind shirt that fuses the fabric's crispness and luster, a well-balanced silhouette, and the dressy feel created by the fabric with the overall pattern.

The cotton yarn is made from 160/1 fine recycled Suvin cotton, twisted into a plied yarn. By using gas-singed yarn, we further enhance its luster and minimize fuzz after washing. We incorporate 75D high-crimp recycled polyester to provide stretch. The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.

※Flat-felled seam: A sewing method where the fabric edge is hidden to ensure a smooth feel against the skin. After the first stitch, the fabric is folded over and stitched again to conceal the raw edge.
