This unique and unparalleled fabric is created by knitting it on a 36G loopwheel machine, the only one of its kind in Japan.
Nylon yarn is blended into the middle yarn to create a distinctive stretch and chewy texture.
The high gauge, combined with the fabric, gives it a unique luster. Lame thread is incorporated into this fabric, creating a new type of brushed lining that changes its appearance depending on the viewing angle. The lame thread is also added to the ribbing in a way that makes it appear like a moderate milling.
Sewn at one of Japan's leading cut-and-sew factories, the thick, high-density fabric, which is said to be difficult to sew, is finished beautifully.
All ribbing areas feature blousing stitching, creating a relaxed design.
Relaxed details are added, contrasting with the glossy fabric.
This classic pullover has a moderately loose fit. By carefully calculating and patterning all parts, from the armholes and body width to the hood, the fabric's full potential is maximized.
The rounded box silhouette also makes it suitable for layering.
