It is knitted in a high-density typewriter weave on a custom-made 36-gauge circular knitting machine.
We use the finest yarn possible with this machine, 1/60 super 120 non-mulesing wool.
In addition, the fabric is lightly brushed through a fulling process in the final stage of production, creating a high-gauge Melton fabric. This textile combines luxury with a rugged feel.
Of course, the functionality of wool (heat retention, antibacterial properties) is maintained, while offering an unprecedented wool material with a smooth touch and the stretch of a knit.
Polyester threads are inserted at regular intervals to create a stripe pattern, and it is also machine washable.
The texture improves with repeated washing, making it a material that can be nurtured over time.
This blouson features a raglan design with ample width.
It can be worn as an outer layer in early autumn and as a light outer layer in mid-winter. The collar is designed to be perfectly balanced whether worn up or folded down.

*Non-mulesing wool

Mulesing is a method of preventing blowfly strike in sheep, which involves removing skin and flesh from the hindquarters of lambs.
In contrast, non-mulesing wool is obtained from sheep raised without the painful mulesing procedure, using gentle and natural farming methods.
