KANEMASA PHIL. - 46G Eclipse Shirt - WHITE

"Eclipse" - a word that means a solar or lunar eclipse.

This oversized shirt, a brand icon, is named for its bold silhouette that envelops the body and its powerful presence, as if blocking out light, creating an overwhelming pattern balance.

The fabric is an original creation, using a 46G super high-gauge knitting machine to reproduce the look of high-density typewriter cloth typically found in woven fabrics, but in a knit. Despite its high density, it offers excellent stretch and a comfortable feel that you won't want to take off once you try it on.

Furthermore, it is highly easy-care, resisting wrinkles and loss of shape during wear. This new standard material, unique to KANEMASA PHIL., combines crispness and a beautiful luster with the softness and functionality inherent in knit fabrics.

The material uses 120/1 extra-fine recycled Suvin cotton in a two-ply yarn. By using gas-fired processed yarn, it suppresses pilling while enhancing an elegant luster. Additionally, blending with 50D high-crimp recycled nylon achieves high stretchability and comfortable wear.

Details are based on classic dress shirts. All seams are French-seamed, and the buttons are luxurious shell buttons. Furthermore, the cuffs incorporate designs from vintage dress shirts, paying meticulous attention to every detail.

This is a truly unique piece that high-dimensionally fuses contradictory elements: the dressy appearance created by the material and the overwhelmingly voluminous silhouette.

*French Seam
A sewing method where the seam allowance is sewn twice, encasing it within the fabric. It is soft against the skin and highly durable. Since the seam allowance is not visible from the outside, it results in a beautiful finish.
