As the name suggests, this is KANEMASA PHIL.'s standard loose-fit shirt, allowing you to fully appreciate the beautiful drape created by its relaxed silhouette and material.
The fabric is an original creation, using a 46G super high-gauge knitting machine to replicate the appearance of high-density typewriter cloth typically found in woven fabrics, but in a knit. Despite its high density, it offers excellent stretch, providing a comfortable fit that you won't want to take off once you've tried it on.
Furthermore, it is resistant to wrinkles and shape loss during wear, offering excellent easy-care properties. It's the brand's unique new standard shirt fabric, possessing both crispness and a beautiful luster, combined with the flexibility characteristic of knits.
For the raw material, we use 160/1 extra-fine recycled Suvin cotton in a two-ply yarn. By using gas-gassed yarn, we suppress fluffing and bring out a clearer, higher-quality luster. In addition, by blending 75D high-crimp recycled polyester, we've achieved excellent stretch and comfortable wear.
The patterns are created using our unique high-gauge jacquard technology. Since the optimal structure is designed for each pattern, the blend ratio differs for each item, allowing you to enjoy a variety of textures and expressions.
The details are based on classic dress shirts. All seams are finished with flat-felled French seams, and the buttons are made of high-quality shell. Despite its oversized fit, the crispness and luster of the material prevent it from becoming overly casual, maintaining a dressy elegance. This KANEMASA PHIL. piece is a luxurious loose-fit garment that merges the elegant expression created by the fabric with the relaxed feel generated by the generous cut.
The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons, demonstrating the brand's meticulous attention to detail.
*Flat-felled French seams
A sewing method where the seam allowance is sewn twice, enveloping the fabric. It is soft against the skin and highly durable. Since the seam allowance is not visible, it also boasts a beautiful finish.
