At WAKAN, we have made the arabesque pattern, often seen in native jewelry, even finer and more delicate to evoke an elegant atmosphere.
This piece is designed for you to enjoy the free curves unique to hand carving and the splendor of the arabesque pattern. Hand-carving arabesque on a semicircular (kamaboko-shaped) metal base, rather than a flat surface, is extremely labor-intensive.
The carved grooves will darken with use, so it is a piece that you can enjoy as it ages.
