"Brick" means brick.
It is made using a technique where large iron blades are driven into a flat metal base to create grooves. Originally a simple flat metal base, it was named "Brick" because the grooves created the impression of stacked bricks.
*The official images show the surface appearing black due to lighting, but as shown in the worn photos, it is actually an all-silver signet ring.
